Sports, leisure and community projects are really exciting opportunities.

For one, they embrace the whole community in which they serve, and

so it’s really important to make sure that we listen carefully to everyone

who is going to use it. This normally means a steering group, or

committee of volunteers from the community, who act as the voices of the

community. We have the experience to make sure that we listen carefully

and meet the needs of each member. We’re also experienced in public

meetings, so that we are on hand to explain what the project entails and

answer any concerns which may arise.

Each community is different, and each has their own needs, so we’ll make

sure that each project is tailor made, has the flexibility to welcome in

the various groups who will want to use the building, and is sustainable

(whether it’s in how the building is used, or how much energy it consumes).

Finally, we understand that these projects don’t have a bottomless pit

of money, and budgets need to be met, so we’ll work carefully with each

committee to make sure that the project comes in to time and to budget.

As for the design? Economic doesn’t have to be dull…
